Malformed segment objects or nonstring text were silently discarded while valid segments made the remaining partial transcript look successful. Reject malformed response segments while continuing to ignore legitimately blank text.
Validation: one native baseline regression fails; 24 ingestion-module tests pass fixed (22 existing plus two new). Actual production ingestion modules compile in a minimal harness; full workspace/database and transcription-provider integration were not run. Rustfmt passes.
