Qodo Code Review for Open Source projects provides free AI-powered code review for public open-source repositories on GitHub. Qodo offers a free plan, in partnership with Google, for maintainers and contributors of public open-source projects. Eligible repositories receive AI-powered code reviews designed to improve pull request workflows, with fully managed hosting, and regular updates.

Included features

The Open Source plan includes core code review features directly in pull requests. Advanced features, including Rules and PR History, are available on paid plans.

Eligibility

Eligible repositories must:
  • Be public GitHub repositories
  • Have 200+ GitHub stars on the repository, or have at least one public repository in your organization with 200+ stars
  • Be actively maintained
  • Comply with Qodo usage policies

Get started

  1. Go to the Qodo app on GitHub Marketplace.
  2. Install the Qodo app on the repositories where you want to use AI code review.
  3. Open a pull request to receive an automated review, or use /review on an existing PR.
