How drivers are delivered
The drivers for PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, Redis, MariaDB, TiDB, OceanBase, Databend, Amazon Redshift, CockroachDB, PGlite and ClickHouse come with the Mac app. No separate client software is needed to connect.
Other drivers download as signed plugins when you first select the database. The first download needs an internet connection.
TablePro checks each plugin’s SHA-256 checksum against the registry and verifies its code signature before installation.
Driver plugins update separately from the app. Updates to a driver in use take effect after you restart.
The iPhone and iPad app has built-in drivers; it does not download plugins.

On iPhone and iPad
The iPhone and iPad app connects to MySQL, MariaDB, TiDB, OceanBase, PostgreSQL, SQLite, DuckDB, Redis, SQL Server and Oracle.
Connections to Amazon Redshift open there only when they come from a Mac, through iCloud Sync or an exported connection file.
Connections to other engines sync to iPhone and iPad and appear in the list, but they do not open there.
Included in Free
Every supported database connection is included in Free. Starter and Team add optional features to the Mac app.
Missing your database?
New engines arrive as driver plugins. If the one you use is not listed, ask for it on GitHub.
