We started with 40 brave survivors in Vol. 1, grew to 80 in Vol. 2... and now we’re bringing the darkness back home to where it belongs: Halloween.

It’s time to sink your teeth into a full month of game dev. Whether you want to build a atmospheric psychological thriller or a stylized spooky retro throwdown - this is your stage.

🎭 Theme

The theme is already set:

Vampire Horror

Gothic castles, neon-lit Halloween streets, cursed pumpkin patches, or blood-soaked retro corridors. Lean into pure horror, or embrace eerie, spooky Halloween aesthetics - the choice is yours.

🧟‍♂️ Resurrect Your Rotting Projects

Have an unfinished game from a past jam or a half-baked prototype rotting on your hard drive? Dig it up! You are fully encouraged to repurpose existing assets, code, or abandoned projects - just carve and retexture them to fit the Halloween Vampire theme.

🌌 Dimensions & Tech: All Are Welcome

We are placing a strong emphasis on 3D and 2.5D spatial experiences this round. We want lighting, environmental layout, and spatial exploration! 2D projects are still welcome.

🗝️ Rating Criteria

Entries will be judged on the following:

Theme – how well the game embodies Vampire Horror infused with the halloween vibe.

Horror/Spookiness – atmosphere, tension, and fear factor.

Innovation – fresh ideas, unique mechanics, and unexpected elements.

Stakes – intensity, player engagement, and dramatic weight.

Aesthetics – visual style, and overall presentation, regardless of the dimension or engine used.

Audio - sound design, ambient atmosphere, impact SFX, and soundtrack.
