Publish from your agent, not the editor
Tell your agent what to publish. It reads the file, uploads the images, and saves the draft. Connect it with the MCP server, the agent skill, or the CLI. All three use the same API.
Needs Hashnode Pro on the publication you write to
Example
What your agent can do
Publish posts
Publish markdown with tags, a cover image, and a series, in one request.
Edit published posts
Change a title, subtitle, slug, or tags. Everything else stays as it is.
Draft first
Save a draft, review it, then publish it when you are ready.
Upload images
Upload a local image and get a CDN URL for your cover or your post.
Search and read
Search your posts, open one by slug, and list your drafts and series.
Review team drafts
Submit a draft for review and see what is waiting on your team.
Set it up
Use the MCP server if you chat with Claude or Cursor. Use the skill if your coding agent works from files in a repo. Use the CLI for scripts and cron jobs.
Add the server
In Claude Code, run this. In other clients, add a remote MCP server with the same URL.
claude mcp add --transport http hashnode https://mcp.hashnode.com/mcp
Sign in
Your client opens Hashnode. Log in and approve access. There is no token to paste.
Ask for what you need
The server has tools for posts, drafts, series, comments, and image uploads.
Try asking
- Who am I on Hashnode?
- Which drafts do I have on my blog?
- Find my posts about GraphQL
