Melvin, in 2024, made history as the 1st Distinguished Regional Keynote Speaker at GitHub Field Day Malaysia, a regional tech conference organized by GitHub Education and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI, Malaysia).
The conference, which was held at Sunway University (Malaysia’s Top Private University), was attended by ~100 leaders from 20+ universities and 35+ tech communities 🇲🇾
He was also invited and served as a Local Keynote Speaker for the Singapore Management University x BuildingBloCS Tech Conference, a flagship nationwide tech conference attracting 300+ participants from 50+ educational institutions and 50+ tech communities across Singapore,
including Singapore’s top STEM and Olympiad-track students across 10 disciplines: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Informatics, AI, Cybersecurity, Robotics, Astronomy, and Linguistics Olympiads (高才班) 🇸🇬
