I work at BrowserStack on WebdriverIO DevTools, an open-source debugger for WebDriver tests.
I enjoy debugging more than almost anything else in software, so building a debugger for other people's tests suits me.
- Framework support: I built DevTools for WebdriverIO · Nightwatch.js · Selenium WebDriver (JavaScript) · Selenium (Python), all sharing the same dashboard and trace format
- Live dashboard: opens while your tests run and shows every command, the page, console and network logs, with one-click reruns of a single test
- Trace mode: portable
trace.ziparchives with per-test slices, DOM time-travel and an offline player, for CI runs or for handing to a coding agent - Hybrid-app webview capture for mobile sessions
Nearly three years at Freshworks, Chennai, on backend work in Ruby on Rails and Java. Built real-time agent sync between Freshworks' CRM and Freshdesk, and a worker that unified account data across linked products.
Whichever framework you're on, if DevTools misbehaves in your suite, open an issue and mention @vishnuv688, or message me on LinkedIn.
