Description

Fixes #9579.

Problem

With URL encoding on, a path param value containing / was substituted into the URL as-is, so it was sent as an extra path segment instead of %2F.

Fix

When settings.encodeUrl is on, path param values are now passed through encodeURIComponent in both :name and OData-style (:name) substitution, in the electron and CLI interpolate-vars. With encoding off, values are left untouched. Added specs for both packages; they fail without the change.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Bug Fixes
    • Path parameters are now URL-encoded when the request’s URL-encoding option is enabled.
    • Encoding applies consistently to standard and OData-style paths, including values containing slashes or colons.
    • Parameter values remain unchanged when URL encoding is disabled or not configured.
    • Prevented already-encoded values from being encoded again.

With the URL Encoding setting enabled, path param values were spliced
into the URL as-is, so a '/' in a value became a path separator instead
of %2F. Encode the value with encodeURIComponent when substituting it
(traditional :param and OData-style), in both the app and the CLI. The
later encodeUrl pass decodes each path segment before re-encoding, so
the value is not double-encoded.

Duplicate helper in both runtimes needs a pairing note or shared module.

toPathParamSegment has the same logic in this file and in packages/bruno-electron/src/ipc/network/interpolate-vars.js. The helper has no Electron-only or CLI-only dependency. Move it to @usebruno/requests or @usebruno/common. If both copies must stay, add a comment at both sites that names the twin.

As per coding guidelines: "Prefer unifying over copying... Where both copies must stay, note the pairing in a comment at both sites."

The toPathParamSegment helper is duplicated across the CLI and Electron
runtimes; unify both usages through a shared @usebruno/requests or
@usebruno/common helper, or, if separate copies are required, add matching
comments at both definitions naming the twin implementation.
