- Around line 23-24: Update the exposure logic in useIaNavVariant so false or
otherwise disabled flag values do not record an exposure; only record exposure
when flagValue is an assigned variant, while preserving control navigation
selection. Update the related test to expect no exposure for false.
- Line 27: Update the exposure guard in useIaNavVariant so URL overrides are
resolved before recording exposure, including the initial empty-parameter
render; check the current window URL at capture time or use an initialized
search-parameter state, and add coverage for both initial empty parameters and
the subsequently loaded override.

Reads the docs-ia-mvp-v1 PostHog flag and records exposure, following the Search v2 pattern. The top nav, mobile menu, and guide sidebar read from the Option 1 config when the flag is on. That config re-exports today's navigation for now.
Menu now resolves the nav items and active label once and passes activeLabel to each section, instead of every section running both hooks.
Forcing control and a control flag value run the same branches as forcing option-1 and a false flag value.
A false flag means the visitor is outside the rollout, so it no longer records a control exposure. The exposure check also reads the URL directly, because useSearchParamsShallow is empty until after mount and a forced variant could record an exposure.

Closes DOCS-1464
Problem
The new docs navigation, Option 1, needs an A/B test against today's navigation. The docs app has no flag that switches the navigation per visitor.
docs:*keys in this repo are build-time toggles fromenabled-features. They are the same for every visitor, so they can't run an A/B. The flag isdocs-ia-mvp-v1, a PostHog multivariate flag, likedocs-search-v2.Solution

It returnscontroluntil the flag resolves, records exposure once resolved, and respects consent.?docs-ia-mvp-v1=option-1or?docs-ia-mvp-v1=controlforces a variant for dogfooding and evals. A forced variant records no exposure.features/IaNav/option1.constants.tsre-exports today's navigation constants. An export defined in that file replaces the re-exported one, so Option 1 in DOCS-1469 overrides only what changes.useNavItems, which picks the config for the variant. Not changed: Reference sidebars, breadcrumbs, and hub pages. Breadcrumbs and hub pages can read
