Database Schema

The database follows a Joined Inheritance strategy:

• activities: Base table for all entries.
• tasks: Specific attributes for tasks.
• study_sessions: Specific attributes for sessions.
• courses: Academic courses data.
• categories: User-defined classifications.
• materials: Educational resources linked to courses.

Setup

1. Import the database_schema.sql into your MySQL server.
2. Update src/META-INF/persistence.xml with your database credentials.
3. Open the project in NetBeans and run the application.
