rtk init -g is for Claude Code only, not Copilot. Copilot needs --copilot flag.

The quick start section says
rtk init -gworks for "Claude Code / Copilot (default)" but it only works for Claude Code. Copilot needs the--copilotflag.Split it into two separate lines to make it clear.
