My application for GitHub Education benefits was recently rejected with only a generic message directing me to the EDU community FAQs, which doesn't indicate what was missing or insufficient. |

Have tried and Github even rejected a genuine official letter from my University Registrar / Provost.
Every feedback comes back the same that says try again. That is after 3 weeks.

Earlier I really used to Love Github but now since Automated Bots came its become frustrated even though docs and all is correct and visible still they are continuously rejecting it without even getting into acceptance 🥺. |

when i submitted my student account on GitHub i wasn't on my college campus at the time and mine got rejected so for it to go through you must be on your school campus |

Bro my friend got the same problem what he did wrong was didnt setup github billing (you can find it in settings) and then submitted the ID card and it asked me the location like but it worked for me. |

I had the same issue. The rejection message mentioned a campus location verification problem. Might be worth checking location permissions along with your profile and student ID details. |
