I'm a Computer Science student at Case Western Reserve University, currently finishing up my freshman year. I'm passionate about building things from the ground up and am always looking to sharpen my skills through personal projects and continuous learning.
- 🔭 I'm currently working on strengthening my Java fundamentals through hands-on projects.
- 🌱 I'm currently exploring full-stack development and FinTech.
I'm originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, where my curiosity for technology started early - modifying game files, swapping hardware in my laptop, and constantly wondering how things worked under the hood.
In high school, I took my first real steps into Computer Science by taking AP Computer Science Principles and working through Harvard's CS50x course. The summer before my senior year, I enrolled in a Python Programming course at Tulane University, which led to a research internship under a tenured professor in Tulane's Data Science department. There, I independently analyzed 2023 data science salary trends using Python, Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib - producing visualizations and written reports that contributed to academic research findings.
Those experiences solidified my decision to pursue Computer Science at Case Western Reserve University, where I was awarded a full-tuition Posse Foundation Leadership Scholarship.
