This PR recreated #340601 on a maintainer-owned branch and updated it onto current
main.The equivalent SDK/runtime update has since landed in #340624, including the related Agent Host E2E documentation updates. The dependency manifests and lockfiles in this branch are byte-identical to current
main, so this draft is superseded.Validation
