Backend engineer & blockchain developer. Interested in how things work under the hood.
I build backend systems, explore storage engines and performance, and enjoy contributing to developer tools and open-source projects. Lately, I've been diving deeper into Rust, Solana, and native tooling written in Go.
You can reach me on LinkedIn or by email. I also read and share interesting engineering content on daily.dev.
- bolt-tui — A Go/Bubble Tea terminal UI for browsing and editing BoltDB buckets and key-value data.
- FastAPI Simple Boilerplate — A minimal backend starter with FastAPI, SQL and MongoDB,
uv, Docker, and CI checks.
- go-ethereum (Geth) — Fixed pruned-history error handling for log queries starting at the genesis block, ensuring the correct error is returned on pruned nodes (PR #31941, merged).
- Mayoi — Fixed a Linux/GTK crash caused by menu updates during rendering. Deferred native menu updates, prevented stale updates, and added regression tests (PR #55, merged).
- Microsoft Edit — Proposed mouse-hover highlighting behavior for the terminal editor (PR #799, closed).
- BNB Smart Chain — Fixed archive-mode transaction history configuration to preserve user-defined settings and prevent unintended full-chain transaction reindexing. (PR #3624, merged)
- Stacks Core — Fixed Clarity VM error formatting to suppress empty Stack Trace sections. Originally proposed in PR #6421; the fix was carried forward by maintainers and merged via PR #6628.
- Umbrel — Fixed photo upload date handling by preserving original file modification timestamps when capture metadata is missing. Added timestamp validation, metadata precedence handling, and regression tests. (PR #2281, open)
- DefiLlama Adapters — Fork of DefiLlama's community-maintained DeFi data adapters.
- solana-go — Fork of the Go SDK and RPC client for Solana.
- Languages: Go, Rust, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Solidity
- Data & messaging: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQLite, Pebble, Redis, RabbitMQ, NATS, BullMQ
- Blockchain: Ethereum / EVM, Solana, smart contracts
- Infrastructure: Docker, AWS, GCP, Git
I'm always interested in a good conversation about backend architecture, storage systems, or Web3 protocols.
