Claude Haiku 5.5 enables adaptive thinking by default and permits forced tool calls. Keep streamed thinking blocks intact for replay and preserve forced tool choices for
bind_toolsand function-calling structured output.anthropic>=1.12.0,<2.0.0and refresh the SDK lock.Compatibility follows the official migration guide. Live API verification is unavailable without credentials. Applications should revisit output budgets and keep preserved-thinking conversations append-only within the originating account.
