We labelled the snapshot client version on master branch as "4 - Beta". Here in release-8.0 branch we updated it to "3 - Alpha" to generated the 8.0.0a1 client

Forked master branch into release-8.0 branch, updated the version constants, and generated 8.0.0a1 client on release-8.0 branch. This PR contains only version constant changes.
The next steps are to make distribution packages and create github release.
