Hi, I'm @hymsoft

About me

Old-school programmer with 30+ years of experience, always working independently under my own shop, HyM Soft. Started out with dBase, Clipper and FoxPro for DOS, moved through Visual FoxPro and Basic, and now mainly work with HTML, CSS, JS, React, Next.js, C# and SQL. Backend lover, frontend admirer.

Author of a Q&A-style technical book trilogy covering HTML, CSS and JavaScript, built for developers looking to nail the fundamentals of web development.

Some personal projects: Cronos View (Guard Tour Control System), BetCalc Dice++, AlquiIndex.

Skills & interests

HTML | CSS | JS | React | Next.js | C# | SQL

Outside of code: Boca Juniors and Talleres de Córdoba fan (football), and Huirapuca R.C. (rugby) — my favorite sport.
