Description

Adds a skill for operating a real iPhone from Copilot agent mode through the Zeptap Mac app's local MCP server. It covers the connection check, the look-act-verify loop, treating on-screen text as data, and confirming consequential actions with the user. Zeptap is a paid Mac app with a free first hour.

Additional Notes

  • Affiliation: I build Zeptap. The skill is adapted from the MIT-licensed skill in https://github.com/Zeptap/mcp.
  • Requirements and limits are stated in the skill: macOS 14+, the Zeptap app running, an iPhone on USB and paired over Bluetooth. Not for Android, the iOS Simulator or remote phones.
  • Links are limited to the tool reference, driving rules and troubleshooting docs. No signup or referral links.
  • The skill is written against the Zeptap MCP server's current tool set. It has not yet been run end to end in Copilot agent mode, so the testing box is unchecked. The VS Code .vscode/mcp.json entry follows the standard servers / type: "http" format.
  • npm run skill:validate and npm start pass; docs/README.skills.md is regenerated.
  • This PR was prepared with an AI agent, so the title carries the disclosure marker from CONTRIBUTING.md.
