Clear inherited session identity at both launch boundaries and generate a fresh UUID for every desk. Preserve optional per-launch model, reasoning, and context preferences across Agency/plain-Copilot and repo/connected routes. Why
When Cairn is launched from an Agency session, new desk tabs can inherit the parent's session identity and attach to the same history. A new terminal tab alone is not a new Copilot session.

Validation
npm testin the signals-dashboard extension: 25 passing tests, including native Windows stale-environment execution. New regression cases failed before the fix.npm run build,npm run plugin:validate(104 plugins), JavaScript syntax checks, required Markdown line-ending normalization, and whitespace checks pass.Existing desk sessions and histories are untouched. macOS and Linux terminal GUI launches were not live-tested.
