Dropping a stash works again, and the three Linux packages stop assuming you have Git — one of them now installs it, and the others say so out loud instead of failing with a spawn error.
Fixed
Drop a stash and the stash goes. Delete answered '<sha>' is not a stash reference and left the entry in the list: the list carries each stash's commit id, and git stash drop accepts only stash@{n}, so the id was handed to a command that cannot read it. The dialog that asks for confirmation had a second bug of its own — it printed stash@{{index}}, placeholder and all, so it named no stash at all. Both reported and fixed by @HermesSantos in #10.
The resolve then had to be corrected before shipping: it looked the entry up by its OID and rebuilt the ref out of that same OID. Git reads whatever is inside stash@{...} as a date when it is not a number, so stash@{<oid>} reported "Dropped" and removed nothing — the error was gone and the stash was still there. It is the index the list already carries.
GitBox says what is wrong when Git is missing. Cloning, fetching, pulling and pushing are native, but the local plumbing — staging, diffs, stashes, tags, submodules, amend, revert — still runs the git command line, in 62 places. Without Git installed, every one of them failed with spawn git ENOENT, which names neither the cause nor the fix. The banner now says Git was not found and where to get it, in your language. The repeat toasts are gone with it: one missing Git fails every command after it, and only the first one needs to speak.
The .deb, .rpm and .pacman packages depend on git. They declared no dependencies at all, so the packages installed cleanly onto machines that could not run half the app. The AppImage and the Windows installers have no way to declare a dependency, so there Git still has to be installed separately — which is what the new message is for.
The Flatpak builds Git into the sandbox. org.freedesktop.Platform carries none, so inside the Flatpak the app could browse a repository and not change one. The build is trimmed to what GitBox calls, with the dashed built-ins symlinked rather than copied — 179 copies of the same 4 MB binary is the difference between a 356 MB image and a 1 GB one.
