Banking infrastructure built in Mozambique.
Fluxo is a configurable Banking as a Service (BaaS) platform for financial institutions building and operating digital financial products in Mozambique.
We provide the technical foundation for institutions to configure products, rules, fees, workflows and customer channels while retaining their own brand, operating model and customer relationships.
Financial infrastructure should help local institutions move faster without sacrificing control, auditability or financial correctness.
Fluxo is being built to reduce the cost and complexity of financial digitalisation in Mozambique. The platform combines configurable financial services with modular infrastructure that can adapt to microfinance institutions, credit cooperatives, fintechs and banking partners.
- Configurable financial products: accounts, savings, loans, credit lines, fees and interest models.
- Financial source of truth: transaction posting, double-entry ledger, balances, repayment allocation and audit trails.
- Rules and workflows: tenant-defined eligibility, limits, compliance checks, schemas and operational processes.
- Reliable background operations: durable queues, retries, scheduled financial jobs, reconciliation and worker health metrics.
- Deployment infrastructure: containerised services, PostgreSQL, Redis and Kubernetes-oriented operations.
- Institution-owned experiences: API-first foundations for branded web, mobile and partner channels.

Our product direction starts with the realities of the Mozambican financial ecosystem:
- financial products and accounting flows in Mozambican meticais;
- integration paths for financial institutions, fintechs and mobile-money partners;
- support for variable connectivity and operational resilience;
- tenant isolation, auditability and controlled financial operations;
- architecture that can evolve with local regulatory and institutional requirements.
- Financial correctness before feature volume.
- Configuration before institution-specific forks.
- Explicit APIs and contracts between platform modules.
- Secure tenant boundaries and traceable operations.
- Incremental delivery backed by builds, tests and observable runtime health.
Fluxo is under active development. The configurable financial engine, asynchronous worker runtime and local deployment infrastructure form the current foundation. Institution dashboards, payment adapters, customer channels, documents and intelligence services will build on these contracts.
The public gettalk repository is the governance hub for organisation-wide policies, RFCs, security, contributions, conduct and technical discussions.
