• Looking for work that combines my tech interests with medical background outside primary care
• Participating in IndieWeb remote events, minutes / note taking, occasional facilitating Homebrew Website Club: Eastern
• Migrating my workflows and repos from GitHub to SourceHut (sr.ht) & Codeberg.
• Transitioning my digital reliance towards more privacy-friendly options, moving away from Big Tech (enshittification) and US-based services in general
• Getting accustomed to being a 'sustainable blogger' (i.e. keeping up with posts without long periods of absences)
• Raising awareness and sharing about the non-corporate Internet (e.g. small web / IndieWeb)
• Learning basic Python for data science

✍️ My blogs

Status: active This is my personal site and main blogging outlet where I usually write about tech-related topics and more recently, weeknotes. I hope to grow it so it becomes my personal Internet hub that can connect with others using Indieweb principles. BurgeonLab is built with Hugo and is my favourite way to build a static site—learn more about the technical aspects on the blog's README.

Status: irregular updates (low activity) This was my first blog and runs on self-hosted WordPress. I didn't enjoy my experience of using WP (hence switching to Hugo), but the process was invaluable. It allowed me to learn from experience, building a foundation for basic web development skills (like improving page performance, CDN integration, HTML/CSS tweaks, blog writing and SEO best practices, etc). I don't write here often though and I'm considering if I should consolidate it with BurgeonLab.

Status: under construction This will be the place I share my photography-related content. I'm an avid hobbyist photographer and it's my biggest hobby. Ever since I left the Adobe ship (being a user for over 15y), I no longer have a portfolio up online. I plan to use Hugo to share my portfolio and also write blogs about my gear, processes, etc.
