Interesting. My original intent was that setting the override dictionary to be empty would have been sufficient to cancel any overrides... Did that not work for you?

That did not work, after running the demo I still had no control over the overrided channels until I specifically set each channel to 0

Oh - I see what you mean. Because of how we have to send rc overrides without any ack from teh vehicle we need to at least send the cancel a few times. I like your fix - but eventually I'll also make the api smarter so we stop sending overrides entirely once we see that the vehicle has them (needs mavlink protocol changes).
