Split-Context-Setup

Slash command for Claude Code that reviews a repository's CLAUDE.md, prunes it to essential context, and scaffolds a structured context/ store with topic-based subfolders, an ingestion pipeline for raw materials (audio, documents), and subagent templates for automated context maintenance and organization.

Installation

Run the install script to add the slash command to your Claude Code commands directory:

./install.sh

This installs the command as chunk-claude.md in ~/.claude/commands/, making it available as /chunk-claude in any Claude Code session.

What It Does

  1. Prunes CLAUDE.md — Reduces bloated configuration files to the minimum needed for agent context
  2. Creates context store — Scaffolds a context/ directory with topic-based subfolders for detailed project knowledge
  3. Sets up ingestion pipeline — Creates context/pipeline/ with audio/ and documents/ subdirectories for raw context input
  4. Adds subagent templates — Creates context/agents/ with pipeline-processor and context-organizer agent definitions
  5. Establishes memory boundaries — Adds guidance distinguishing project context (context/) from working patterns (MEMORY.md)
