• Drop Qt 5 support (#865). The minimum officially supported Qt version is now
  6.8. Earlier versions of Qt 6 may still work but are not officially supported.
  The current Debian stable ("trixie") has version 6.8 and the latest Ubuntu LTS
  ("noble") has version 6.10.

Removed

• The QStringRef class, which is part of Qt 5 Core Compatibility APIs, was replaced
  by QStringView.
