A fast, native Markdown (.md) viewer for Windows.
ReadMark opens Markdown files and renders them - with tabs, a heading sidebar, find, print. It's built natively for Windows on .NET 8 and WebView2.
This repository is the public home for ReadMark downloads, issue tracking, and documentation. ReadMark is proprietary software — the application source code is not distributed here (see License).
- Opens
.mdfiles from Explorer, "Open with", drag & drop, or the command line. - Renders GitHub Flavored Markdown (tables, task lists, footnotes, alerts, emoji, …) or strict CommonMark — switchable at runtime.
- Tabs for multiple documents, with a collapsible heading sidebar for navigation.
- Find in document, Go to line, zoom, and full screen.
- Print (and Save as PDF) through a custom print dialog with preview.
- Light / Dark / System appearance, plus Modern and Classic chrome themes.
- Remembers recent files and, optionally, restores your open tabs.
- Private by design: no telemetry, no cloud, no account.
