The Wrangler configuration reference says workers_dev defaults to true. When the configuration sets route or routes, Wrangler turns the workers.dev URL off unless workers_dev is set. State both defaults in the two places the key is described, and say how to keep the workers.dev URL alongside routes.
The egress control example calls ctx.exports.HttpGateway() and passes the result to globalOutbound. The export is already a binding, and calling it throws. Pass ctx.exports.HttpGateway as is.

Two small fixes to Workers pages, one per commit:
