If the parent environment defines COVERAGE_PARALLEL_MODE, expanding os.environ after assigning false overrides the intended subprocess setting. Both Autobahn subprocesses can then combine parallel mode with coverage run --append, preventing their coverage from being incorporated into the expected coverage data.
