Completes the release loop: test the exact build before tagging.

What it adds

.github/workflows/build-brand-ci.yml — on every PR to main, builds the branded Windows + Linux (AppImage) installers with --publish never and uploads them as downloadable workflow artifacts. No GitHub Release is created.

The loop it enables

dev → commit → PR → CI builds installers → download & test the artifact
→ merge → tag voxee-vX.Y.Z → public Release (built identically)

Details

  • Same branded/slimmed build config as release-brand.yml (self-hosted only).
  • Version labelled 0.0.0-pr<N> so a test build never looks like a real release / can't silently downgrade an installed 1.2.0.
  • Artifacts: VOxee-windows-pr<N> (.exe) and VOxee-linux-pr<N> (.AppImage), 14-day retention.
  • concurrency cancels a superseded run when you push new commits to the PR.
  • Endpoints/models from repo Variables; API keys never built in.

Note

This PR itself will be the first to trigger the workflow — so you'll get downloadable installers on this very PR to try the flow.

Adds build-brand-ci.yml: on each PR to main, build the branded Windows + Linux
(AppImage) installers with --publish never and upload them as downloadable
workflow artifacts (no Release). This is the "test the exact build before you
tag" step — download, install, validate, then merge and tag to release.

Same build config as release-brand.yml. Version labelled 0.0.0-pr<N> so test
builds never masquerade as a real release. concurrency cancels superseded runs.
