NetLogo bundles a Java runtime so users can get up and running very quickly, without installing Java separately. Sometimes it can be useful to know which runtime was bundled for troubleshooting purposes or historical reasons. The table below lists which Java runtime was bundle with each NetLogo release per operating system. We try to keep the Java version the same across operating systems, but if there a Java bug that's significant on one OS, we'll keep that one on an older version.
