- Drop EOL Python 2.7 and 3.4: https://devguide.python.org/devcycle/#end-of-life-branches
- Drop almost-EOL 3.5: Python 3.5 EOL is end of September 2020 python/devguide#609
- Test on Python 3.9-dev, it's released next month: https://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-0596/
- Update syntax for 3.6+
- Remove redundant six library
- Some other cleanup
