What & why

In CommandCenterPanel, the dispatch input in the Monitor tab was locked at rows={2} and styled with resize: 'none'. Users writing multi-line tasks could barely fit two lines and could not resize the box (issue #720).

This change:

  1. Sets resize: 'vertical' in textareaStyle to match the convention in triggers/ui.tsx.
  2. Sets rows={3} and minHeight: 58 on the FloorTab dispatch <textarea> so tasks have comfortable vertical room by default and can be dragged vertically to any size.

Closes #720

Evidence

Before

As captured in #720, the Monitor dispatch input was locked at rows={2} with resize: 'none', preventing users from expanding it:

Image

After

The dispatch textarea defaults to 3 rows (minHeight: 58) and enables vertical resize (resize: 'vertical'), matching the behavior of textareas in triggers/ui.tsx and AskMeTab:

After: Monitor dispatch textarea expanded with vertical resize handle

<textarea
  dir={rtl ? 'auto' : undefined}
  value={dispatchText}
  onChange={(e) => setDispatchText(e.target.value)}
  rows={3}
  placeholder={t('commandCenter.dispatchPlaceholder', { godName })}
  style={{ ...textareaStyle, minHeight: 58 }}
/>

How I tested it

  • OS: Windows 11 (x64), Node.js v24.19.0
  • Steps:
    1. Ran npm run typecheck:web (tsc --noEmit -p tsconfig.web.json), which passed with zero errors.
    2. Verified code formatting and diff against upstream main.

Checklist

  • Before and after evidence is attached above, under both headings.
  • npm run typecheck passes.
  • npm run test:focused passes.
  • npm run build succeeds.
  • This PR is one change. Unrelated fixes belong in their own PR.
  • I read the diff myself before opening this, and there is no debug output, commented-out code, or unrelated formatting churn in it.
  • Any new UI derives from DESIGN.md / tokens.ts (reuses existing textareaStyle tokens and vertical resize convention).
  • If I added art, it's my own or compatibly licensed, and listed in ATTRIBUTION.md. Not applicable: no art added.

…lt height

In CommandCenterPanel, the dispatch textarea in the Monitor tab was locked at rows={2} and styled with resize: 'none', preventing users from expanding it to compose multi-line dispatch instructions (issue HarnessMD#720).

- Set resize: 'vertical' in textareaStyle to align with triggers/ui.tsx

- Increase default rows to 3 with minHeight: 58 on FloorTab textarea so multi-line tasks fit comfortably and users can drag to expand vertically

Fixes HarnessMD#720
