Cover the AI components' untested paths - #6817
Conversation
The AI components moving into this repo (AND-1639) use LocalActivity and the public PickVisualMediaRequest constructor, both added in 1.10.
Adds stream-chat-android-ai-compose, stream-chat-android-ai-ondevice and the AI sample, copied from GetStream/stream-chat-android-ai at 6cc68e5. They stay separate artifacts with the same coordinates and are released with Chat. Chat modules do not depend on them. Adapted to this repository's build: shared version catalog and conventions, its Detekt and Spotless rules, Robolectric tests on API 33, re-recorded Paparazzi snapshots and new API dumps.
CI runs unit and snapshot tests only for the coverage modules, so the AI modules join that list. The size checks gain AI flavors, at each module's minSdk, and the README and AGENTS.md name the new modules.
androidx.activity 1.10 adds the ContextCastToActivity lint error for casting LocalContext to an Activity.
CI runs unit and snapshot tests only for the coverage modules.
An empty <application /> in a library manifest reads as an app that allows backup and implicit clear-text traffic to code scanning.
The metrics flavors read the AI modules' minSdk from the version catalog, so a raised minSdk cannot break the size check. The size updater only rewrites existing badges, so the README gets one per AI module.
Adds tests for the streamed reveal, dictation, image downsampling, the reasoning fold, JSON handling, tool approval prompts, code fences and the microphone permission prompt. No production code changes.

154-154: 🎯 Functional Correctness | 🔵 Trivial | ⚡ Quick winAdd coverage for a final result without partial results.
RecognitionListenercan callonResultswithout callingonPartialResults. The final bundle containsSpeechRecognizer.RESULTS_RECOGNITION. The current test supplies"hello"through the partial callback and then sends an empty final bundle, so it cannot detect thatSpeechRecognizerHelper.onResultsignores final-only speech.Replace the sequence with:
Suggested test change
- recognizer.triggerOnPartialResults(results("hello", final = true)) - - recognizer.triggerOnResults(Bundle()) + recognizer.triggerOnResults(results("hello"))This is a coverage gap in this test-only PR, not a production regression introduced by it. The existing helper behavior can still lose final-only speech and requires a separate production correction.

123-123: 🎯 Functional Correctness | 🔵 Trivial | ⚡ Quick winUse a fixture that distinguishes both flip axes.
The fixture changes color only from left to right. A missing vertical flip can pass the current tests. A horizontal flip substituted for the half-turn can also pass because both operations produce the same left-to-right result.
Add distinct top and bottom colors. Assert pixels for the vertical flip and at different heights for the half-turn.

Looks good. Two nits inline, both optional.
CodeRabbit's point on the BitmapTest fixture is valid: with the half turn done as a horizontal flip, the vertical flip as a no-op and transpose rotated like transverse, all six tests still pass.
Quartered image fixture so every flip and turn is checked by corner, a fold test only the reader's choice can pass, no results after a cancel or an error, a chart test that proves the markdown rendered, and the part cases moved to AIMessagePartTest.

Stacked on #6806. Merge after parent.
Goal
Refs AND-1639
Brings the AI modules' new-code coverage over the SonarCloud gate: 69.7% → 80.8% (lines and conditions), with no production changes.
Implementation
New tests:
StreamingTextRevealTest: chunked reveal on a virtual clock; continuation vs restart, animation turned off mid-reveal, line breaks.SpeechRecognizerHelperTest: driven through Robolectric'sShadowSpeechRecognizer; availability, partial and final results, audio level, every error code, stop, cancel, release and disposal.BitmapTest: real JPEGs in native graphics mode; downsampling and all EXIF orientations.ReasoningFoldStateTest: open/fold rules, the reader's choice, the footnote, thought-for duration.JsonTest: escaping, org.json values, invalid input,AIMessagePartequality and unknown kinds.AIMessagePartItemTest: the approval card under a waiting call, the unsupported-step placeholder.ComposerInternalsTest: the microphone permission snackbar opens app settings; attachments can be removed.RichTextTest: code fences, indented code, a streaming vs complete Chart.js fence. The dictation tests don't pin how several speech segments are joined, which is a known issue in the moved code.
Testing
./gradlew :stream-chat-android-ai-compose:testDebugUnitTest :stream-chat-android-ai-ondevice:testDebugUnitTest(139 + 5 tests)./gradlew :stream-chat-android-ai-compose:koverXmlReportCoverage: lines + branches 80.8%, matching SonarCloud's measure on Ship the AI components with Stream Chat Android #6805 (69.7%) before this change.Summary by CodeRabbit
