zccache 1.12.5 (released 2026-06-14) ships the meson-native-file lifecycle fix from zackees/zccache#710. The meson-snapshot restore path on Windows previously left `meson_native.txt` in a broken state after the file-lock race (`os error 32`), surfacing as the cascade we filed at FastLED #3048: FileNotFoundError: ...\.build\meson-quick\meson_native.txt ERROR: Unhandled python OSError. ... ninja: error: rebuilding 'build.ninja': subcommand failed The 1.12.5 fix rewrites the native file unconditionally after a failed snapshot restore so `meson setup` always finds a valid file to read. The `>=1.12.5` floor (vs the prior `>=1.12.3`) guarantees that anyone consuming this `pyproject.toml` without the lockfile (e.g. as a dependency) cannot resolve back to the buggy version. `uv.lock` is gitignored so the next `uv sync` picks 1.12.5 from the new floor.
