Remote Development

Run agents and development tools on your own machines

Keep Emdash on your laptop. Run your code, agents and development tools on a remote machine over SSH.

The Workspace Server runs on that machine and handles files, Git, terminals, agents, search and automations. Emdash connects through SSH; you don't need to expose a public server port.
