Other payment methods

More ways to pay. Beyond cards. Right now that means Alipay and crypto (stablecoins like USDC) for plans billed in US Dollars ($) and UPI Autopay for plans billed in Indian Rupees (₹) - and new payment methods land here as they go live. Manage your plan any time in Studio > Billing.

Alipay

Alipay is available for any plan billed in US Dollars (USD). At checkout, choose Alipay and approve the payment in your Alipay app. This also creates a recurring payment agreement for future renewals.

In short

Choose a plan, select Alipay at checkout, and approve the payment in your app. Future renewals are charged automatically in USD.

  • Approve once: Sign in to Alipay and approve the recurring payment agreement during checkout.
  • Automatic renewals. You do not need to approve each monthly payment.
  • Billed in USD. Alipay handles the payment using your linked balance or payment method.

You can manage or cancel the recurring payment agreement in the Alipay app. You can also manage your subscription in Studio > Billing.

Crypto

You can pay for any plan billed in US Dollars (USD) with supported stablecoins. At checkout, choose Crypto. Stripe will take you to its crypto checkout, where you can choose a supported stablecoin and network, then connect your wallet.

In short

Choose a plan, select Crypto at checkout, connect your wallet, and pay with a supported stablecoin. Future renewals are charged automatically from the authorized wallet.

  • Pay with stablecoins: USDC is supported on Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, and Base. USDP and USDG are also available to eligible US customers.
  • Automatic renewals: Your wallet is authorized during checkout. Future renewals are charged automatically in USDC. Make sure the wallet has enough USDC to cover your plan.
  • Billed in USD. The stablecoin payment covers your plan's dollar amount.

To change how you pay or cancel your plan, go to Studio > Billing.

UPI Autopay

Paying in Indian Rupees (₹) means your plan renews automatically through UPI Autopay. You approve a single mandate at sign-up, and every monthly payment is handled from then on. There's no PIN to enter each month.

In short

The mandate is set to ₹15,000. That is a ceiling on what can be charged, not the amount you pay. You are only ever charged your plan price. A higher ceiling means fewer PIN prompts, so lowering it would only cause more of them. The PIN you enter when you upgrade is a separate, one-time step, and it never resets your mandate.

How it works

  • You approve it once. When you pay in INR, you set up a UPI Autopay mandate in your app, such as GPay, PhonePe, or Paytm.
  • It renews on its own. Each monthly payment is taken automatically, with nothing to do on your side.
  • It is a ceiling, not a charge. Every mandate has a maximum amount. You are still only charged your actual plan price.
  • It is set to ₹15,000. That is the most a recurring UPI payment can be before your bank asks for your PIN again.

Why it is set to ₹15,000

The ceiling is the most a payment can be before UPI asks for your PIN. We set it as high as the rules allow, and we do this on purpose.

  • A higher ceiling means fewer prompts. Any renewal of ₹15,000 or less is taken without a PIN. That covers Go, GOAT, Pro, Provider, and Max 10×.
  • A lower ceiling means more prompts. If we set it lower, every renewal above that amount would ask for a PIN. Lowering it would make things worse, not better.
Warning

₹15,000 is set by the RBI, so we cannot raise it. If a plan costs more than ₹15,000, such as Max 20×, every renewal asks for a PIN. Every plan that costs less renews quietly.

Why an upgrade asks for your PIN

This is not related to the ceiling. When you upgrade in the middle of a month, we set your billing date to today and charge the new plan right away, so your plan and your billing date stay in sync.

That charge happens straight away. UPI Autopay can only take payments that are scheduled a day in advance, so an immediate charge cannot be taken quietly. Because of this, UPI asks for your PIN once. This happens no matter how small the amount is, so even a move from Go to Pro will ask for it.

  • It is normal. The PIN approves that one upgrade charge, and every upgrade will ask for it.
  • Your mandate stays in place. You are not setting it up again. Your renewals keep working on their own.

What to expect

If you would rather avoid the prompts, you can pay in USD with a card instead of UPI. You can view or cancel a mandate at any time in your UPI app, or manage your plan in Studio > Billing.

FAQs

What is the ₹15,000 on my UPI mandate? Will I be charged that?

No. ₹15,000 is the most the mandate allows, not what you pay. You are only ever charged your plan price. The limit is there because UPI lets recurring payments of up to ₹15,000 go through without a PIN, and we set it as high as allowed so your renewals stay automatic.

Can you lower the mandate amount?

We keep it at ₹15,000 on purpose. It is a ceiling, not a charge. A higher ceiling means more of your renewals go through without a PIN. If we lowered it, any renewal above the lower amount would ask for a PIN, so it would only add friction.

Why did upgrading ask me to enter my UPI PIN again?

An upgrade charges the new plan right away so your billing date stays in sync. That is an immediate charge, and UPI Autopay can only take payments that are scheduled in advance. UPI asks for your PIN once for any immediate charge, even a small one. Your mandate is not being recreated, and your renewals still work on their own.

Do I have to set up the mandate all over again after upgrading?

No. The PIN on an upgrade approves that one charge. Your mandate stays active and your monthly renewals keep working without any further action.

Why does my Max 20× plan ask for a PIN every month?

Max 20× costs more than ₹15,000 a month. That is the most a recurring UPI payment can be without a PIN, and the limit is set by the RBI. Any payment above it needs a PIN every time. To avoid the monthly prompt, you can pay in USD with a card, or choose a plan that costs less than ₹15,000.

How do I view or cancel my UPI mandate?

Open your UPI app, such as GPay, PhonePe, or Paytm, and look under Autopay or Mandates to review or cancel it. You can also manage your plan in Studio > Billing. For anything else, email support@commandcode.ai.

How do I subscribe with Alipay?

How do I view or cancel my Alipay agreement?

Open your Alipay app and look under payment settings for auto-debit agreements to review or cancel it. You can also manage your plan in Studio > Billing. For anything else, email support@commandcode.ai.

How do I subscribe with crypto?

Pick a plan in Studio > Billing and choose the Card · Alipay · Crypto option, which starts checkout in USD. On the payment page, select Crypto - Stripe takes you to crypto.stripe.com to pick a stablecoin such as USDC, choose a payment network, and connect your wallet. MetaMask, Phantom, Coinbase Wallet, Trust Wallet, and hundreds of others work, and the payment settles your plan price in USD.

Do crypto payments renew automatically?

Yes. The wallet you connect at checkout is saved with a one-time authorization, and each renewal is charged to it in USDC automatically, with nothing to sign each month. Keep enough USDC in the wallet for your plan price. You can switch how you pay or cancel any time in Studio > Billing.
