I'm Marc Nuri, a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Red Hat, based in Valencia, Spain. I created the Kubernetes MCP Server and I'm the lead maintainer of Fabric8 Kubernetes Client and Eclipse JKube.
I joined Red Hat in 2019 to build free and open source tools at the intersection of Kubernetes, Java, and AI. Today I also work on software supply chain security: how AI agents and engineers can find, fix, and verify vulnerabilities in open source libraries at scale. I've been building software professionally for more than 15 years, first as a freelance web developer and then for companies in the retail, procurement software, and e-commerce industries. I've been writing this blog since 2007.
Short bio for event organizers and press
Marc Nuri is a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Red Hat, based in Valencia, Spain, working on AI-assisted software development and open source supply chain security. He created the Kubernetes MCP Server, the Model Context Protocol server behind the MCP server for Red Hat OpenShift, and he is the lead maintainer of Fabric8 Kubernetes Client and Eclipse JKube. He is the author of Full Stack Quarkus and React (Packt, 2022), received the Eclipse Cloud DevTools Contributor Award in 2022, and was named Best Speaker at DevBcn 2024.
What I work on
Kubernetes MCP Server
Creator. A Model Context Protocol server that lets AI assistants and agents work with Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters. It's part of the Containers organization on GitHub, next to Podman and Buildah, and the upstream project of the MCP server for Red Hat OpenShift.
Fabric8 Kubernetes Client
Lead maintainer. The Java client for Kubernetes and OpenShift, a building block of Quarkus, Spring Cloud, and the Java Operator SDK.
Eclipse JKube
Project lead. Maven and Gradle plugins and tools that help Java developers build and deploy their applications to Kubernetes and OpenShift.
Besides these, I maintain several side projects, such as ElectronIM, YAKD, Helm Java, and the Podman MCP Server. You can find all of them on my GitHub profile.
Recognition
- Eclipse Cloud DevTools Contributor Award (December 2022), for my leadership of Eclipse JKube.
- Best Speaker at DevBcn 2024.
- Most Original Speaker at DevBcn 2025.
Talks
I speak about Kubernetes, Java, MCP, and AI-assisted development at conferences and meetups:
- 2026: Turning Your Java Project Into an AI-Ready Codebase, at DevTalks Romania and ValenciaJUG.
- 2025: Model Context Protocol Servers 101: Unlocking the Power of AI, at DevBcn.
- 2024: Deploying Your Apps to Kubernetes Without the Boilerplate, with Roland Huß, at AppDeveloperCon (a KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe co-located event), and Developing a Full-Stack Reactive Application Using Kubernetes as an Event Producer, at DevBcn.
- Earlier: EclipseCon (2020 to 2023), DevConf.cz, and several Java User Groups.
Some of my talks are listed on Sessionize, and the slides are available at presentations.marcnuri.com.
Books and writing
I'm the author of a book about Quarkus and React, published by Packt Publishing as Marc Nuri San Felix.

I also write for Red Hat: the Kubernetes MCP server article on Red Hat Developer and the technology preview announcement of the MCP server for Red Hat OpenShift on the Red Hat blog.
