GLP-1 use is rising but what about #breastcancer risk? Long term safety matters. At #ASCO26, Elizabeth Susan McDonald, MD, PhD reported GLP-1 treatment was associated with lower BC incidence in women, but clinical trials are needed to confirm a true risk reduction effect. @ASCO

PANKU-Breast02 phase 3 trial: iza-bren vs chemo in pre-treated metastatic TNBC. Jiong Wu, MD, PhD reported that patients had improved overall survival & stayed progression-free longer w/ manageable side effects, suggesting iza-bren could become a new standard option @ASCO #ASCO26
