Claims report

These features are only available to partners who use YouTube Studio Content Manager.

The Claims report shows partners the active, inactive, and pending claims on assets in their Content Manager.

The report includes claims on private, unlisted, and blocked videos. It also contains each claim's attributes and settings, such as applied policy, claim type, origin, and more.

The Claims report is available on a daily basis.

Download the report

Sign in to Studio Content Manager.
From the left menu, select Reports .
Click the Claims tab.
In the Download reports column, click the version name and select the report to download it.

Note: When a field has more than one item, each item is separated by a pipe character: â€œ|â€.

What's in the report

FIELD	DESCRIPTION
Claim ID	YouTube-generated ID for the associated claim.
Claim Status	Specifies whether the status of a claim is ACTIVE, INACTIVE, or PENDING.
Claim Status Detail	Detail about the status of a claim, such as CLOSED_MANUALLY.
Claim Origin	Method by which a claim against a video was created.
Claim Type	Specifies whether the audio, visual, or audiovisual aspect of the video was claimed.
Asset ID	YouTube-generated Asset ID associated with the claim.
Video ID	YouTube-generated Video ID of the claimed video.
Uploader	Name of the YouTube user who uploaded the claimed video.
Channel ID	YouTube-generated channel identifier for the channel that published the claimed video.
Channel Display Name	Display name of the channel that published the claimed video.
Video Title	Title of the claimed video.
Views	Number of views on the claimed video.
Matching Duration	Total match duration of a claim.
Longest Match	Longest matching portion of a claim.
Content Type	Music content type of the claimed video. Only relevant for Music Partners.
Reference Video ID	YouTube-generated video ID of a reference. Only applies if the claim is associated with a reference created from a YouTube video.
Reference ID	YouTube-generated ID for the reference associated with a claim. This field will be blank for partner uploaded claims.
Claim Policy ID	Unique identifier for an applied policy, currently available in API. This info is not shown in Studio Content Manager.
Asset Policy ID	Unique identifier for an owner policy, currently available in API. This info is not shown in Studio Content Manager.
Claim Policy Monetize	Territories where the applied claim policy is Monetize. 2 letter country/region code.
Claim Policy Track	Territories where the applied claim policy is Track. 2 letter country/region code.
Claim Policy Block	Territories where the applied claim policy is Block. 2 letter country/region code.
Asset Policy Monetize	Territories where the owner policy is Monetize. 2 letter country/region code.
Asset Policy Track	Territories where the owner policy is Track. 2 letter country/region code.
Asset Policy Block	Territories where the owner policy is Block. 2 letter country/region code.
Claim Created Date	Date the claim was created.
Video Upload Date	Date the claimed video was published.
Custom ID	Optional asset metadata field used to uniquely identify an asset, usually an internal code. Other partners can't view your custom IDs.
Video Duration Sec	Length of the claimed video in seconds.
Asset Title	Title of the asset associated with the claim.
Asset Labels	List of any asset labels associated with the asset.
TMS	TMS identifier from the asset's metadata. Only relevant for TV/Movie partners.
Director	Director info from the asset's metadata. Only relevant for TV/Movie partners.
Season	Season number from the asset's metadata. Only relevant for TV/Movie partners.
Episode Number	Episode Number from the asset's metadata. Only relevant for TV/Movie partners.
Episode Title	Title of the episode from the asset's metadata. Only relevant for TV/Movie partners.
Release Date	Release date from the asset's metadata. Only relevant for TV/Movie partners.
HFA Song Code	HFA identifier from the asset's metadata. Only relevant for Music partners.
ISRC	ISRC identifiers provided by all owners from the asset's metadata. from the asset's metadata. Only relevant for Music partners.
Grid	Grid info from the asset's metadata. Only relevant for Music partners.
Artist	Artist name from the asset's metadata. Only relevant for Music partners.
Album	Album name from the asset's metadata. Only relevant for Music partners.
Record Label	Record label name from the asset's metadata. Only relevant for Music partners.
ISWC	ISWC identifier from the asset's metadata. Only relevant for Music partners.
Writers	Names of writers from the asset's metadata. Only relevant for Music partners.
UPC	UPC identifier from the asset's metadata. Only relevant for Music partners.
Shorts Eligibility	This field indicates whether a video is a YouTube Short video.
