Why Early Access?
“The game is in an active experimental phase where all the foundational pieces are in place but the potential avenues for various game modes are still being explored. Early Access allows us the benefit of the Steam platform for leaderboards, multiplayer discovery and convenient updates while steadily growing the community and building out new features.”Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
“Essentially, until there is enough content to satisfy several hours of single player game time (campaign) and enough multiplayer modes and infrastructure to build a healthy competitive environment and sustainable community custom maps.”How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
“We aim to have in place:* Simple custom map creator + publishing tools with leaderboard integration
* Regular tournament systems
* Several competitive multiplayer modes”
What is the current state of the Early Access version?
“The game has the foundations in-place: flight model, time trial mechanics, leaderboard competition (with automatic ghost upload), VR support, multiplayer, all the infrastructure around game / graphics / audio options, re-bindable inputs, various flight assists and a frankly absurd amount of options to cater to all kinds of users from casual pad-play all the way to dual-flightstick pilots.”Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
“No, the game will remain free.”How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?
“We have an active discord community and all development is visible on github.”About This Game
