How it works

Three steps.
Then we work.

I01 / 03
Choose a restaurant

Search any venue on Resy, or paste the URL. Your Resy account is AES-256-GCM encrypted, decrypted only at the moment of booking.

II02 / 03
Set your terms

Party size, the dates that work, the times you'd accept. We work within them.

III03 / 03
Stand watch

If your date hasn't opened yet, we grab it the instant the restaurant releases seats. If it's already open, we watch around the clock for cancellations. The moment a match appears, we book it — you don't have to be watching.

Questions

Before you begin.

No. SeatWatch is an independent service that uses your Resy account on your behalf. Your credentials are AES-256-GCM encrypted at rest and only decrypted in worker memory at the moment of booking.

We're already watching, so we never have to react. SeatWatch books through Resy's own API the moment a table matches your request, and falls back to a browser-based path if anything on Resy's side changes. You don't have to be at your phone.

It depends on the date. If your date hasn't opened yet, we fire at the exact moment the restaurant releases it — every restaurant opens its books on its own schedule, and we're already watching when yours does. If your date is already open, we check it around the clock and grab any cancellation. We choose the right approach for each date automatically — you don't have to. Watching already-open dates is a paid feature; the free plan grabs newly released dates the instant they drop.

We try the day before, the day of, and the day after the release window automatically. If all three attempts miss, you'll get an email and the request stays active for the next cycle.

Some venues block standard API access, so SeatWatch books them through a real browser. Pro, Elite, the 14-day Trial and the Reservation Pass all include them; Free doesn't.

Yes, you can cancel any active request from your dashboard. Plans are month-to-month, no contracts. A purchased Reservation Pass expires after its 7-day dining window ends.

An active request is one restaurant, party size, and time window. Depending on your plan, each request can include multiple dates — for example, one restaurant, party of 2, a dinner-time window, Friday through Sunday counts as one active request with three dates.

Before you buy one, check whether you still need it: every new account gets 14 days of full access the moment you connect a Resy account. The Reservation Pass itself is a one-time $29 purchase for a single upcoming occasion — no subscription. It includes 5 active requests with up to 3 dates each, all within one 7-day dining window. Target dates can be up to 45 days out, and the pass expires after the selected dining window ends.

No. Elite is capped by design at 10 active requests. There is no unlimited tier — every plan has finite limits so the service stays fast and reliable for everyone.
