I am not a python programmer. C, PHP yes. I need help.

I'm making "some" progress. On my Fedora server - "discover" retrurns "0". On my RasPi it get 3 out of 8 devices 2 of which respond to 9999. The other one reports port 80 with KLAP. discover returns lots of data, IP, model, type, mac, KLAP, etc.
Then I tried:
kasa --host sg130 on
Discovering device sg130 for 10 seconds
Raised error: Server response doesn't match our challenge on ip sg130
Run with --debug enabled to see stacktrace

It needs —username and —password with your TPLink cloud credentials.

I don't remember ever setting/having a kasa un/pw - I've export KASA_USERNAME=admin & pw as per google search. Also did the --username & pw - no joy. Also I've been able to get python-kasa to run on one of my 2 RasPi but not on neither of my Fedora boxes (tower & laptop).

On 1 RasPi: kasa discover - returns: 1 HS200 (fd light), 2 HS103(halllight, ghwater) and 1 HS200 unknown name (br deck light).
It doesn't return: 3 HS200(patio, kitchendoor, diningroom) and 1 HS103(ghheat) devices. All of which are listed in the Kasa App.

I can ping all, I can run the hs100.c program "info" on all but the new HS200 the br deck light above. Another question: do my different computers have different python3 code? - One would think not, but...

If you mean the "Echo Dot" - on my desk, Linux laptop, and Echo dot. I can cli: echo "alexa what time is it" | espeak and my Dot says "The time is 10 15 am" - The "front door on" was just to see if it would work - a joke? But it works. Totally unacceptable way to turn the lights on and off - but something about skinning a cat ...
