01 / Why We Built This
You have the numbers already. We turn them into the answer.
Your downloads, listens and followers are spread across Apple, Spotify and YouTube, each reporting in its own dashboard. Pulling the picture together by hand costs an afternoon you'd rather spend on the next episode.
PodAnalyst does the assembling, and hands back a read you can act on.
02 / Always On
While you're recording, editing, or living your life, Radar is already listening for what matters.
Radar runs on every PodAnalyst plan, watching retention, growth, timing and pacing around the clock. Findings land on your home page as they surface, evidence attached — the explanation as well as the number.
Want to go deeper? Ask Iris.03 / Go Deeper
Radar tells you what changed. Iris tells you why.
Meet Iris.
Iris is your analyst, grounded in your show's own data every time you ask. Ask why an episode lost listeners, which topics are building your audience, or what to publish next. It answers from your real numbers, in the app or in Claude and ChatGPT over MCP.

First checkpoint: 94%
Second checkpoint: 76%
Largest early drop: 18 percentage points
04 / The Data
Real retention, second by second. The clearest read on your audience you can get.
Retention for every episode, pulled straight from Apple Podcasts, Spotify and YouTube. You can see where listeners stay, where they drop off, and how each episode compares with the last. These are the platforms' own first-party numbers, not a model's estimate. YouTube retention is included on Pro and above.
Read-only access, and your platform passwords stay yours. You invite PodAnalyst as a viewer on Apple Podcasts Connect, Spotify for Creators and YouTube Studio, and you can revoke it from those same pages whenever you want. How connecting works
05 / Roll-Ups
A dashboard per show is fine. One view of every show is better.
Network Roll-Up.
Network Roll-Up puts every show in your account side by side. Rank them by listeners, plays or retention, and you can see which one is carrying the network and which one is quietly growing. Included on Pro and above.
On Network, you draw the lines yourself. Put your true-crime slate in one roll-up and your interviews in another, then read each group as its own network without losing sight of the whole.
06 / Readouts
You've done the analysis. Presenting it is the easy part.
Readouts on demand.
Turn any period into a presentation-ready Readout for one show or the whole network. Choose your sections, and each one arrives with written commentary on what the numbers mean.
Your branding runs through all of it, cover to last page. Add the optional rate card and it becomes a commercial document, with your ad slots and rates set against the audience in the same Readout. If a section argues the wrong point, rewrite the instruction behind it and run it again.
Export it as a PDF for the client, or as an editable slide deck for the room. Included on Pro and above.
See what your numbers can tell you.

07 / Support
You'll always know who's on the other end of the email.
Support from Jim and George.
Support at PodAnalyst is Jim and George, the two of us who built it. Write in about a number that looks off, a platform you want connected, or a feature you wish worked differently, and your message lands with the people who know the product best.
That's on purpose. What podcasters ask us is the clearest signal we get about what to build next, and we'd rather hear it first-hand than read it in a summary.
Wherever you need a hand, someone who knows the product is on the other end.
Your message lands in our inbox, and one of us answers it.

Questions
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Community is free and stays free, with no trial clock. You only reach for a card if you want retention data or YouTube.
Do you need my platform passwords?
No. PodAnalyst never asks for your passwords. You invite its data account as a read-only viewer on Apple Podcasts Connect, Spotify for Creators and YouTube Studio, and you can revoke it from those same pages. Connecting your data walks through it.
How long until I see numbers?
Usually within a couple of hours of connecting. Each platform reports on its own schedule, so a brand-new account's first data can take a little while to appear.
What's actually different on Pro?
Retention data is the main one — on Community those columns are blurred, and retention is where you find out why an episode worked. Pro also adds YouTube as a third platform, 200 episodes of history instead of 50, the Network Roll-Up, Readouts, CSV export and API access.
Can I cancel, and what happens if a payment fails?
Cancel any time. On a paid plan, Billing in your avatar menu opens Stripe's portal, where you can change plans or cancel — PodAnalyst never sees or stores your card. If a payment fails, your account drops back to Community limits, your data stays put, and the paid features return as soon as payment succeeds.

August's gain came from the back catalogue rather than the new run — three older episodes accounted for most of the extra plays, and the Wednesday slot is doing the work.
