Why isn’t the code playing for me? My friend has an older version of the app, and the code played correctly.
Also, why can’t I save the document to the app folder?Also, I couldn’t record the video, but the program complained about “NOTNULL”.
"Execution finished with errors. Result: near "NOTNULL": syntax error At line 1: create TABLE student ( Student ID INTEGER PRIMARY KEY, FirstName VARCHAR (255) NOTNULL"
Details for the issue
What did you do?
Problem №1: 1) created a database; 2) worked with the database; 3) wanted to save the result.
Problem №2: 1) wrote the code; 2) clicked the “Run” button.
What did you expect to see?
Problem 1: message about insufficient access rights;
Problem 2: message “Reproduced with error”
What did you see instead?
Problem 1: successful saving in the program folder; Problem 2: white screen under the code
when creating the database, where did you create it? Try creating a database on the desktop to rule out permissions.
A normal user wouldn't have rights to amend files in program files.
copy the database to the desktop, amend it, then put it back where you need it.
Note that you're creating a table using datatypes that sqlite doesn't support - it doesn't know what varchar or datetime datatypes are.
All sqlite knows are text, integer, real and blob.
In your second video, you typed 'notnull' but if you look at the code above, it should have been 'not null'. there is a difference.
Try again, but use 'not null'
