Help build a better debugging experience for Laravel
Hi, I’m Benjamin Crozat, a full-stack web developer with more than 10 years of experience. I’m building The New Debug Bar for Laravel, a free and open-source debugging tool for Laravel developers and their coding agents.
Some numbers first
Demand from developers for a fresh debugging experience with Laravel is here:
I'm also seeing more interest from developers on the Google Search Console.
Why making the New Debug Bar for Laravel?
The New Debug Bar turns each local request into a clear, modern inspector. It brings queries, errors, logs, events, jobs, mail, cache activity, request data, and more into one place. Favorite sections and a fast command palette keep the tools you use most close at hand.
It also gives coding agents focused access to captured debug data through MCP. Instead of guessing from a page or consuming huge logs and profile dumps, an agent can request the exact context it needs and use fewer tokens to help diagnose a problem.
What your sponsorship supports
Your support helps me spend more time:
- expanding and refining Laravel diagnostics;
- polishing the interface and everyday workflow;
- keeping the browser inspector and agent capabilities up to date;
- maintaining compatibility and fixing issues reported by the community.
The New Debug Bar for Laravel is free and open source. If your company builds with Laravel, sponsoring is a direct way to help make better debugging tools available to the whole community.
You can also support the project by hiring me as a freelancer.
