GitHub Social Impact

Driving positive and lasting contributions

GitHub’s Social Impact team empowers current and future developers, nonprofits, and non-governmental organizations to drive positive and lasting contributions to the world with GitHub products, brand, resources, and employees.

GitHub: a corporate and community leader

GitHub takes responsibility for addressing local and global challenges.

We use our products for good and build partnerships between businesses and social impact organizations.

We help employees support causes that reflect their values.

Every day, developers and nonprofits are using technology to tackle some of the world's most pressing challenges. Our role is to help make that work possible by connecting people with the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to create meaningful impact. When more builders can turn ideas into action, we unlock progress that reaches far beyond technology itself.
