Looks interesting. One thing I’d love to understand more is how Zentax plans to differentiate itself from existing native-first solutions like Tauri, Slint, and Flutter Desktop. A few things that would make the vision clearer:
The idea of combining modern DX with native performance sounds promising. Curious to see where this goes. |

Introducing Zentax: The Future of Native-First UI
Tired of the memory bloat of Electron but love the developer experience of modern web frameworks? Zentax is a high-performance, open-source UI language and runtime built from the ground up in Rust.
What is Zentax?
Zentax is a dedicated UI platform designed for native operating systems. We're bypassing browser engines and DOM overhead to deliver a declarative development experience that compiles directly to high-performance native surfaces.
Why we're building this
From desktop environments and login managers to high-fidelity native apps, Zentax aims to be the standard foundation for the next generation of OS interfaces. We combine the DX of React with the Raw Power of Rust.
Current Status (Early Phase)
We have successfully implemented:

We are in the early architectural phase and looking for visionaries! Whether you're into Compiler Design, Graphics Programming (Vulkan/WebGPU), or UI Architecture, there's a seat at the table.
