I also advised to log in using my university email, but when I logged in, this is what appeared |

Redeem Benefits/Offers
Hi everyone,
I am currently facing a loop issue while trying to renew my Azure for Students subscription, and I am hoping someone here has experienced something similar.
My Situation:
My GitHub Student Developer Pack is ACTIVE (verified using my university email: @students.polibatam.ac.id).
My primary GitHub account is linked to my personal Gmail.
The Problem:

When I tried to renew Azure via the GitHub
link, I got an error. I contacted Microsoft Azure Support, and they informed me that the student benefit is actively linked to my university email. They provided a direct redemption link and instructed me to log in using my school email.
However, when I try to log in to Azure using my school email, I get a new error page stating:
"Your current account type is not supported."
(It says my school account is not eligible to sign up for a new Azure account and suggests using a personal Microsoft account instead).
It seems my university's IT policy restricts students from creating personal Azure accounts using the @students.polibatam.ac.id domain. But on the other hand, Microsoft says the benefit verified by GitHub is tied strictly to that school email.
My Question:
Has anyone dealt with this kind of university IT restriction before? Is there a way to force the GitHub student benefit to sync with my personal Microsoft account instead of the school email?
Any advice or workaround would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
