Experiencing the same issue, GitHub Project Automation is also not working for these tasks.
Adding issues directly to Board works but any further changes will result in same error.

New issues also not appearing for me, i can only see a single issue not more.

No automations are being applied.

Even when trying to directly add an Issue to a Project (via + icon), and even though the Issue says it's in a Project with a Status, it does not appear in any Project views.

It seems removing the issues from the project and readding them now fixes the problem. This should be emphasized here! It's a non obvious solution and the state of the data is not repaired on its own.

I'm still experiencing this problem today - even after removing the issues from the project and re-adding them.
